HWPipe is the Hazen Williams Hydraulic Design Software. The Hazen-Williams equation was developed in 1902 and is probably the most commonly used equation for calculating water flow in closed conduits.

Use of this equation should be limited to water and other
similar liquids. Conduits containing thick sludge, gases, oils, and slurries should be designed using other methods.
